Location: Portsmouth
Salary: Up to £19.90 per hour (PAYE),£26.55 per hour (Umbrella) or up to £38,287 perm salary
Job Type: Contract or Perm
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment based in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder with a strong background in aluminium welding, particularly within precision fabrication and high-spec environments.
Key Responsibilities of the Welder:
* TIG & MIG welding in a manufacturing environment
* Welding and fabrication of aluminium components (with some stainless and mild steel work)
* Working from technical drawings and specifications
* Maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in all welds
Experience & Skills Required:
* Proven experience in aluminium TIG & MIG welding
* Ideally coded welder, or a strong level of hands-on experience to an equivalent standard
* Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment
* Ability to work efficiently, proactively, and with a high level of attention to detail
