About the Role: As a Retrofit Project Manager you will be working with in our planned works team providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community. You will be required to support the General Manger on delivery of high-quality capital & programmed works and / or built environment services to Housing Client properties, ensuring teams operate to Mears defined branch standards and deliver best in class customer service, whilst satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards relating to budget, profitability and resource deployment. Ensure that all domestic retrofit projects are capturing the correct data and that all such data is stored and disseminated correctly and under the guidelines of PAS2035 so that funding requirements are met and intended outcomes achieved Coordinate the operational achievement, retention and compliance with relevant external accreditations in partnership with the Planned and Retrofit team and compliance team to demonstrate our credibility in carbon reduction and related areas (e.g., PAS 2030:2019, PAS 2035: 2019, PAS2038:2021, MCS, funding requirements, ISO 14001 and others as required) Utilise and update frameworks to consistently capture the progress and outcome of domestic retrofit projects delivered with operations to ensure compliance with funding and accreditation requirements Undertake compliance checks for all retrofit projects to ensure compliance with PAS requirements and funding criteria Identify retrofit project risks during scheme design and during delivery and recommend solutions to mitigate them Coordinate an internal change management project across the Group and support the General Manager and Retrofit Contract Manager to ensure the change project is delivered on time, within scope and budget Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders highlighting risks and mitigation required Support the delivery of aspects of the project plans where appropriate Liaise internally with colleagues as required to enable solution design, compliant service delivery and support to resolve issues as they arise (e.g. operational teams, compliance etc) Support the team, in the development and management of relationships with external specialist partners such as Retrofit Assessors, Retrofit Coordinators, architects and others as required to develop and deliver our priorities internally and with clients Liaise with clients in the long term to provide ongoing support to deliver their domestic retrofit priorities – including liaison on standard of work, data and analysis and scheme identification Support the Planned and Retrofit team on tender production and solution development for bids Support the identification, creation and implementation of good practice and innovation in domestic stock retrofit and related area. Support the design and the delivery of energy advice to customers to alleviate the risks of fuel stress and rising energy costs Role Criteria: Proven track record of capital / programmed works and management & delivery of retrofit projects, across various clients. Social housing experience. Enrolled in a Retrofit course. Experience of project management and proven track record of working in a customer focused environment.
