Equifind is working with a real estate developer and asset manager based in London’s Battersea to hire a Financial Controller. With a global portfolio covering logistics, retail, office, and industrial assets, the firm has a proven track record of delivering market-leading returns. As they embark on a new partnership, they’re looking to bring in a senior finance lead to support the CFO with the firm’s continued growth, and help implement institutional-grade reporting and analysis. What will I be doing? Oversee the finance team, including reviewing work, hiring, training, and development Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including consolidation of overseas entities Review and analyse the Group’s financial results, balance sheet, and cash flow, providing detailed commentary for consolidated reporting Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in line with group timelines Drive a major project to implement a new general ledger system – covering design, testing, and rollout Manage the Group’s audit process from end to end What's on offer? Qualified accountant (preferably audit trained) At least 5 years of post-qualified experience in a similar reporting role Prior experience in real estate (development, property management, fund management etc.) Advanced-level Excel skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Excellent report writing and able to confidently liaise with a range of stakeholders Strong technical skills and knowledge of UK GAAP Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills
