Business Development Manager - Midlands Permanent £50,000 per annum DOE Competitive OTE scheme; £500 per month car allowance Field-based / Midlands but our client can be flexible on location About Our Client Our client occupies a unique, privileged position. Their Purpose To support families through bereavement with expert guidance and genuine compassion, making a complex process feel manageable and human. What You’ll Be Doing: Driving new business growth by identifying and securing partnerships across estate planning, IFA’s, Will Writers, legal, financial, and related sectors. Managing and developing partner relationships, ensuring high engagement and revenue growth through regular meetings and strategic collaboration. Representing the company at events, meetings, and networking opportunities to promote services and generate leads and build solid relationships. Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and partner satisfaction. Achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective account management, lead generation, and performance tracking. What They’re Looking For They are looking for individuals with some of the following experience: Field-based B2B Sales Experience Account and/or Partner Relationship Management CRM and Sales Pipeline Management (Hubspot desirable) Event and Networking Engagement Presenting to Professional Audiences Professional Sales or Account Management Certification Industry-specific knowledge or training in Legal or Financial Services The type of person you’ll be: A strong communicator – clear, empathetic, and confident A proactive, solutions-focused individual A self-motivated high achiever driven to meet and exceed targets, with the initiative and determination to succeed without close supervision Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team A passion for making a difference in people’s lives What They Can Offer You They believe in rewarding great work. Here’s what you can expect: Application review – They review applications on a rolling basis and will contact you when shortlisted. Initial chat – A call with Charlotte (HR and Talent Advisor) to get to know you better. There will be some element of competency here, but they aim for it to be more conversational (30mins). Interview – This is your competency-based interview with Simon Brand (Head of Sales), Charlotte (HR and Talent Advisor) and Paul Toghill (CEO) (up to 90mins). Task or Presentation – A chance to showcase your skills. This will be part of your interview. Feedback – They will contact you following your interview, typically within 1 week. Support – They want everyone to feel comfortable and confident throughout their hiring process.
