Job Overview
The Fitness Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our fitness facility, ensuring a welcoming and motivating environment for all members. This position requires strong leadership and management skills to guide the team effectively while driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fitness and wellness, coupled with the ability to inspire others to achieve their health goals.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contribute to the day-to-day operational delivery of the service provision by taking on appropriate coordinating roles.
2. Monitoring service standards against agreed criteria as directed by senior management
3. To communicate daily with other members of the team in order to pass on and receive information to ensure the business is operating efficiently and effectively.
4. Ensure that appropriate standards are maintained throughout the facility
5. Complete regular managerial shifts, leading by example, supervising shifts and directing staff as necessary and appropriately.
6. To be accountable for all monies received whilst on duty and to ensure that all financial and administrative procedures are carried out correctly.
7. To deal courteously, effectively and efficiently with all customer needs, complaints, accidents, incidents and defects as they arise and fully complete relevant report forms.
8. The post holder must ensure that they and all direct reports undertake and successfully complete all relevant training to comply with legislative and Foundry Gym requirements associated with their posts.
9. Provide effective management of health and safety, ensuring compliance with statutory and Foundry Gym requirements using nationally recognised guidelines.
10. Undertake point of sale duties as required, including membership sales, merchandise and supplements sales and any other income generation opportunities.
11. Plan and implement staffing rotas in advance to ensure the business is appropriately resourced at all times.
12. Support the delivery of a health and fitness activities including a comprehensive class timetable and any other initiatives to support this objective.
13. In the event of an emergency incident, to exercise the appropriate control management and work within the established emergency procedures.
14. Maintain security of the premises throughout operational shift hours. Regularly patrol the facility and the immediate vicinity to ensure that service standards are maintained.
15. Plan and effectively run social media platforms with the help of the team

Pay: £22,500.00-£26,000.00 per year
