Known for its menu of pub classics with a twist, the venue uses ethically sourced, seasonal produce and serves freshly cooked dishes - including artisan breads, pizzas, and desserts made in-house. We're now looking for a Sous Chef to join their talented kitchen team and play a key role in delivering high-quality food and leading kitchen operations. ________________________________________ What You'll Be Doing * Supporting the Head Chef and deputising in their absence * Leading and motivating the kitchen team * Preparing and cooking fresh, high-volume dishes to a high standard * Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards * Managing stock, deliveries, and kitchen cleanliness * Assisting with training and development of junior chefs ________________________________________ What We're Looking For * Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh food, high-volume environment * Demonstrated ability to step up and lead the kitchen when required * Food Hygiene Level 2 (within the last 3 years) * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills * Passionate about food and delivering great customer experiences * Own chef whites and knives * A team player with a hands-on attitude ________________________________________ If you're ready to bring your skills and passion to a thriving kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.
