CNC TURNER
We are offering a role for a CNC Turner to join our precision engineering team.
We blend heritage craftsmanship with forward thinking processes – and as our CNC Turner, you will be proficient in programming, setting and operating CNC Turning machines.
Established for many many years, offering a range of different manufacturing processes, providing top quality products into a wide variety of different manufacturing industry sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES for CNC TURNER
10. Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines (Mazatrol, Siemens, G-code)
11. Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
12. Competent with all aspects of setting tools and understanding cutting speeds, feeds, boring, drilling and threading
13. Machine components to tight tolerances
14. Perform tooling setups with a strong understanding of speeds and feeds
15. Use precision measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS for CNC TURNER
16. Significant experience in CNC Setting, Operating programming
17. Sound knowledge of machining principles and best practices
18. Proficient in the use of inspection and measurement equipment
19. Experience of measuring / inspection equipment, including verniers, bore gauges and micrometers
20. CAD/CAM knowledge is an advantage
21. Positive, proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
22. Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
