Your new role
Our client is seeking two experienced Freelance Site Managers to join the team on a landmark 55 million Build to Rent development in South Wales. These roles offer the opportunity to take ownership of key areas on-site, helping to drive the successful delivery of a high-spec residential scheme from structural phase through to completion.
Responsibilities will include:
* Leading daily site operations in line with programme and safety requirements
* Coordinating subcontractors, labour, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow
* Managing quality assurance, inspections, and snagging processes
* Supporting the wider project management team in delivering progress reports and updates
* Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation on site
* Attending project meetings and contributing to site planning and logistics
* Maintaining accurate records of works, variations, and material deliveries
* Overseeing works to ensure adherence to design and specification
What you will need to succeed:
* Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager on large-scale residential or build-to-rent projects
* Strong knowledge of RC frame construction methods and sequencing
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold Card), and First Aid at Work
* Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple trades on site
* Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
* Competent with site documentation, H&S compliance, and client liaison
* Available to work on a freelance basis for the duration of the project
