Job Responsibilities
* Set the strategic direction for data-driven projects and programs, ensuring they align with the bank's vision and deliver transformative value.
* Oversee the execution and delivery of complex initiatives, managing resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
* Influence and engage with senior leadership to drive strategic priorities, ensuring projects support the bank's long-term goals and objectives.
* Lead the development and implementation of best practices in project management, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative solutions and the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
* Develop comprehensive roadmaps to guide strategic project initiatives, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic vision and objectives.
* Represent the CDAO function in executive meetings and forums, advocating for data-driven initiatives and their impact on the organization.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Significant experience in project management, program management, or related roles, with a focus on data and analytics within a financial services environment.
* Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to drive change and influence organizational direction.
* Proven ability to engage and influence senior leadership, with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Extensive experience in road mapping, strategic planning, and aligning project initiatives with organizational goals.
* Professional certification such as PgMP (Program Management Professional) or equivalent is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
* Recognized thought leader within a related field.
* Familiarity with the centralized Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) operations.
