Band 6 £43,231 - £52,679 per annum
Plus, Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 per annum
36 hours per week
Position Overview
The post holder will provide an accessible, person‑centred effective school nursing service for vulnerable school‑aged children who have been identified as being at risk and requiring additional support. This will be achieved by working in partnership with children, young people, families, carers and partner agencies.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a continuous focus on prevention, early intervention and support, concentrating on the ten priority areas under the overarching themes of vulnerable children and families, mental health and wellbeing, and risk‑taking behaviours.
* Work within a team but be responsible for a caseload and function as an autonomous practitioner by virtue of in‑depth knowledge, expertise, experience and proficiency.
