Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Part-time Data Entry Clerk/Administrator to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience and strong computer skills to support administrative functions within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate data records, supporting various clerical tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for someone looking to utilise their organisational abilities in a professional environment while working flexible hours.

Responsibilities

* Inputting and updating data accurately within our databases and systems, including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace.
* Managing and organising digital files and paper documents to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with company standards.
* Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and preparing reports.
* Responding professionally to phone enquiries using proper phone etiquette, directing calls as necessary.
* Supporting the team with general clerical duties including photocopying, filing, and data verification.
* Ensuring data integrity by performing regular audits and quality checks on entered information.
* Collaborating with other departments to facilitate smooth information flow and administrative processes.

Skills

* Proven office experience with familiarity in administrative procedures.
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
* Experience with data entry tasks requiring high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Fast and accurate typing skills to ensure efficient data processing.
* Good communication skills, demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
* Previous clerical or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is important. This role provides an excellent platform for individuals seeking part-time employment in a supportive environment where organisational skills are valued and developed further.
