What You’ll Be Doing: A Blend of Hands-On Management and Team Support This is a dynamic role that requires both manual dexterity and strong interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the Shop Manager, playing a crucial role in the daily success of the shop. Your responsibilities will include: Hands-on Processing and Presentation: Actively sorting, lifting, carrying, and pricing donated items, including clothing, books, and homeware. You will also be responsible for creating visually appealing window and in-store displays, which involves physical arrangement and movement of merchandise. Exceptional Customer Engagement: Providing a warm and welcoming shopping experience for all customers, offering assistance, and building positive relationships. Maintaining Shop Standards: Ensuring the shop floor is clean, tidy, and well-organised, which may involve some light physical tasks. Stock Management with Physical Involvement: Actively managing stock levels, which includes receiving, moving, and organising donations within storage areas. Volunteer Support and Guidance: Assisting in the recruitment, training, and ongoing support of our valued team of volunteers, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
