We're currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - IRRBB. You’ll be at the heart of our transformation, supporting the implementation of a best-in-class Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) framework. You’ll work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders across Treasury, Risk, Finance, and IT, giving you broad exposure and the opportunity to build strong professional relationships. In this role you'll: Supporting structural hedging activities and managing interest rate risks associated with fixed rate retail mortgages and other products Work with market facing colleagues to understand how wider macro-economic environment developments impact the bank and our risk management objectives Collaborating with stakeholders across various functions and seniority levels to design and implement effective risk management strategies Understanding customer behaviours and pricing strategies under different interest rate environments to inform decision-making Supporting key activities such as forecasting, risk appetite calibration, and ICAAP contribution to ensure robust risk management Navigating the development and implementation of a robust IRRBB management framework that addresses both financial and non-financial risks Supporting IRRBB remediation, transformation, capability enhancement, and the sharing and adoption of best practices across the Global IRRBB teams and more broadly across the organisation To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Demonstrable experience working within a Bank Knowledge of financial markets and market products with familiarity with fixed income and derivatives is essential Prior experience in IRRBB, Treasury, or Risk functions is essential Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills the ability to break down complex issues, identify root causes, and generate effective solutions Demonstrable experience collaborating with various stakeholders across different functions and seniority to design and implement appropriate risk management strategies Ambitious, curious, proactive, flexible and adaptable to change Opening up a world of opportunity.
