The business is growing and offers a supportive, collaborative working culture. They are seeking a Finance Assistant on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, with the potential for a permanent role depending on performance and business needs.
Your new role
You will play a key part in the finance function, supporting daily operations and accuracy across multiple systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Goods receipting of items
2. Preparing weekly sales and cashflow reports for senior management
3. Tracking export duties
4. Managing invoicing for both UK and US operations
5. Chasing outstanding customer payments
6. Processing customer refunds via email and CRM systems
7. Managing returns and customer queries
8. Handling intepany recharges and invoices
9. Monitoring daily API errors and logging/resolving issues
10. Escalating unresolved cases to the FC
11. Generating payment request links
12. Supporting month‑end
What you'll need to succeed
You will be well‑suited to this role if you have:
13. Experience in sales ledger, invoicing or accounts receivable
14. Strong reconciliation ability and high accuracy
15. Confidence using accounting software and multiple systems simultaneously
16. Effective organisational and time‑management skills
17. Ability to work to deadlines, particularly at month‑end
18. A proactive and solutions‑focused approach
19. Strongmunication skills and the ability to work independently
20. Experience with Sage 200 or similar finance systems
21. Experience working with multi-currency ledgers
