Thank you for your interest in the position of Social Work Assistant within our Dunfermline Social Work Team, part of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.
We deliver a wide range of services for a population of around 370,000 across Fife. We offer all Social Workers a diverse induction, training opportunities, coaching, mentoring, and supervision to support professional development. Our extensive training plan includes post-qualifying courses to enhance skills and career progression. We are committed to achieving the best outcomes for adults we support, focusing on person-centred care and sustainable services.
This 36-hour post is based within Older People teams in Dunfermline and Lynebank Hospital, contributing to a high-quality social work service underpinned by legislation.

The Person
You should have considerable experience in a relevant setting, with knowledge of Adult Protection legislation, guidelines, and information sharing protocols.
You may occasionally work outside normal hours, including evenings and weekends, for training, emergencies, or unusual circumstances.
Experience in joint working and statutory social services is desirable.
A relevant qualification (HNC) in social care is preferred.
You will also need to obtain PVG Scheme Membership for children and protected adults due to the role's nature.
