Role Description
This is a freelance position for a Garment Technician. The Garment Technician will be responsible for collaborating with the design and production teams, measuring samples and checking against size specs along with creating size specs, evaluating garment samples for quality and fit, and ensuring designs are manufacture-ready. Participation in fittings, material selection, and communication with factories will also be part of the daily tasks.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of garment assembly, pattern making, and construction techniques
* Experience in testing fit, fabric types, and quality control
* Strong understanding of textile properties and garment production processes
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards
* Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
* Proficiency in design and tech pack software such as Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems is required
* Availability to work on-site in Warrington
* Prior experience as a Garment Technician or in the fashion/design industry is preferred
