We are a specialist Lloyd’s processing broker that offers a bespoke “turnkey” style service to assist with all aspects of setting up new business to allow trading in the London Market. We assist with planning and present solutions to start-up organisations within the Lloyd’s arena. The Role: We are looking for a Senior Processing Technician who will work closely with the Director of Technical Services to manage the workflow of business through the Lloyd’s of London systems. You will provide a high-quality support service to clients, markets, and third-party organisations to ensure that all business handled is in adherence to all internal and external requirements. Key Accountabilities: Ensure the management of claims conforms to the agreed standardised processes Contribute to the continuous improvement within the overall claims processing function Support the claims team to identify and implement business performance improvement Assist in claims management and ensure staff in the business unit have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform effectively in their given roles and responsibilities Premium processing and L-pan production experience required. Full understanding of MRC risk and endorsement documentation Understanding of Premium and Claims Bordereaux A&S submissions via the IMR System Claims submissions via the ECF system Lloyd’s of London applications (via Crystal) DXC Insurance Portal for handling queries raised on the IMR Experience with global placements. Review and maintain technical items on the company’s in-house system Collaborating closely with internal and external clients About You: You are a self-starter with a passion for processing complex claims? You are an individual who thrives in dynamic environments and possess the drive to excel. Relationship Builder: Capable of forging and nurturing relationships with clients and insurers, both existing and new. Knowledge of Marine and Aviation is essential. Knowledge of all other classes of business is desirable but not essential Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable knowledge of ECF, IMR, CLASS, PPL, ATLAS, LORS & DCOM is highly desirable. Insurance Industry Enthusiast: Genuine interest in the insurance sector and a desire to deepen your knowledge within the field. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to adapt to various software platforms.
