The role of Legal Manager - Property will include:
1. Manage programmes and initiatives affecting the Group's property portfolio to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulation
2. Assist in managing the Group’s external legal providers, ensuring the delivery of a quality service that represents value for money
3. Manage own caseload of legal work including sales, leases, infrastructure agreements
4. Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service
5. Review and update relevant policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Skills and experiences:
6. Solicitor, FILEX or Licenced Conveyancer
7. Recent experience of managing property related legal transactions
8. Proven achievement working in a commercially focussed legal role
9. Working knowledge of property law, housing regulations and current best practice
10. Experience of managing projects with strong project management skills
11. Proven experience of managing staff
