We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering a high level of service to both new and existing customers, while driving sales growth, increasing product penetration, and building long-term customer relationships. Youll combine account management with proactive outbound sales activity, supporting customer retention, development, and new business acquisition. Key Responsibilities Identify and generate new business through proactive outbound telesales and prospecting Develop existing customer accounts through activation, retention, and account growth Increase product range penetration and maximise customer spend Identify quotation opportunities and issue same-day quotes where possible Support marketing campaigns and outbound promotions to maximise uptake Achieve agreed sales targets, margin requirements, and growth objectives Utilise sales tools effectively to maximise customer potential Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records on internal systems Work to weekly and monthly activity and performance goals About You Previous experience in an internal sales, telesales, or account management role (beneficial) Confident making outbound sales calls and building rapport over the phone Strong commercial awareness with the ability to price accurately and protect margin Highly organised with the ability to multitask and manage priorities Adaptable and comfortable working in a target-driven environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Desirable: Knowledge of customer sales cycles Understanding of products, competitors, or dealer networks What We Offer Full-time, permanent position Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development Opportunity to grow sales skills and build long-term career progression
