Nternal Sales / Customer Services Location: Clitheroe Salary: Circa £35,000 dependent on experience Full time office-based role About Us: Bryden Precision Engineering is a trusted supplier of high-quality precision components to customers in the aerospace, defence, nuclear, utilities and power sectors. We are now looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales / Customer Services professional to join our growing team. The Role: This is a varied and dynamic office-based position combining internal sales, customer service and general administration. You will be the primary point of contact for allocated customers, ensuring they receive a responsive, professional and solutions-focused service always. The role involves regular use of our ERP system (E-Max), day-to-day customer communication, sales administration, and occasional reception duties. There will also be an element of proactive outbound calling to prospective customers to support new business development. Key Responsibilities: Customer Sales & Service (70%) Act as the main internal contact for allocated customers via phone and email Handle RFQs, order updates, delivery dates and documentation requests Enter and maintain accurate customer orders within the ERP system (E-Max) Prepare and follow up quotations Proactively update customers on order progress and resolve queries Liaise with Production, Quality and Dispatch to ensure smooth order fulfilment Contact prospective new customers to establish relationships and generate leads Sales Administration (15%) Maintain accurate customer and pricing data within the ERP system Support CRM updates and maintain records of interactions Produce basic sales reports (open orders, late orders, quote status) Issue order acknowledgements and standard correspondence Support preparation and follow-up of customer meetings General Administration / Reception (15%) Answer and direct incoming calls Welcome and sign-in visitors in line with security and H&S procedures Provide general office administration support (scanning, filing, post distribution) What Were Looking For: Previous experience in an internal sales, sales support or customer service role (ideally within manufacturing or engineering) Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner Comfortable making outbound sales calls Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry Experience using ERP/CRM systems (E-Max experience advantageous ) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities A team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset Experience working with customers in aerospace, defence, nuclear, utilities or power sectors would be advantageous but not essential.
