ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Senior Bid Managers are a valuable part of our business, leading the way to provide leadership on tenders in accordance with the Wates Bid Strategy and governance.
AS OUR SENIOR BID MANAGER YOU WILL:
* Take responsibility for leadership of project bid teams in accordance with Wates 4/4/4 strategy, in conjunction with bid managers, to ensure that preconstruction programme and outputs are met and a customer focussed approach is adopted.
* Produce, own and implement individual project bid strategies and customer plans.
* Take responsibility for engaging with functional leads and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to agree bid teams; monitoring and adapting to suit specific tender requirements throughout the bid period.
* Ensure that all members of the project bid team have a clear understanding of their role and required outputs
* Ensure all bids are carried out and settled in accordance with Wates governance
