Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking a Suitable Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) with expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) version 9, secure network architecture, and software development environments. The ideal candidate must have experience implementing LDAP, SELinux, Splunk, RDP or VNC, Eclipse C++ Development IDE & plugins, and anti-malware tools. Proficiency in configuring switch, firewall, NAS, and other network devices, along with the setup of RHEL subscription and update services within a secure NIST-based framework is essential. Responsibilities: The responsibilities include deriving detailed use cases and designs from high-level requirements, implementing and testing the local development environment, and integrating it with the corporate restricted network and services. Local network maintenance instructions must also be developed. As part of the task package, you will provide documentary output deliverables. Progress will be tracked through weekly meetings, and monthly summary reports detailing progress, blockers, dependencies, and any delays will be required. You will predominantly work on-site, with the option for remote work on documentation tasks as permitted by the Engineering Manager.
