About The Job
As our Head of Business Development for Retail & E-Commerce, you will drive new business growth and profitability in this sector. This is a hunting role responsible for direct selling and developing existing accounts in the UK and internationally, ensuring a competitive advantage through robust commercial arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospect, hunt, and hone targets through to tender and business wins to meet or exceed set targets.
2. Develop strong relationships and collaboration with key stakeholders to support success.
3. Support the development of sector growth strategies, identifying key segments and target customers.
4. Implement and track the sector business development plan, providing feedback for strategy evolution.
5. Support creation and evolution of marketing initiatives, including social media, events, and industry engagement.
6. Act as an ambassador of Unipart and the Retail & E-Commerce sector through social media, podcasts, blogs, and videos.
7. Attend and lead sector events to generate quality leads and ensure ROI.
8. Lead tender responses, challenging solutions, IT, and costs to meet customer needs within Unipart’s parameters.
9. Negotiate tenders, maintaining best practices and competitive advantage.
10. Develop and maintain strong customer relations to ensure inclusion in tenders and opportunities.
11. Foster a culture of open communication, responsibility, and accountability.
12. Utilize Unipart CRM and Hubspot to drive performance and report progress.
About You:
