A vibrant secondary school in Brent is seeking a passionate Chemistry Teacher to join their science department. If you are a QTS-qualified teacher who can deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4, this could be your ideal next step. The Role
You'll plan and deliver effective lessons focused on the Chemistry curriculum. You will teach across a range of student abilities, preparing pupils for GCSE exams. Support will be available from senior staff and science leads.
Responsibilities Include:
* Delivering the KS3 and KS4 Chemistry curriculum
* Creating structured, engaging, and safe practical lessons
* Differentiating instruction for varied learning needs
* Monitoring and reporting on student progress
* Participating in science department meetings and planning
Candidate Requirements
* QTS and degree in Chemistry or related science
* Strong classroom management and communication
* Experience delivering UK secondary science curriculum
* Confidence with practical science teaching and lab safety
Desirable:
* Experience with GCSE or triple science classes
* Ability to teach Biology or Physics as a second subject
* Familiarity with exam boards such as AQA or Edexcel
