A global manufacturer of specialist packaging who specialise in the design and manufacture of precision injection moulds, from single to ultra-high-cavitation moulds across many industries, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their production facility.
Undergoing a significant transformation with millions of pounds of investment, they offer Class 7 cleanroom injection moulding, injection blow moulding and assembly.
As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -
Providing Maintenance support to production to maximise the up time through PPM and reactive breakdown situations
Plant and machinery installation/decommissioning
Quality inspections on calibrated plant and machinery
Active participation in process improvement projects
Working to and within the quality management system
Exposure to fluid power (inc. pneumatics), site services as well as various improvement projects on an ad-hoc basis
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -
Be a time served / apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer
Have a recognised electrical qualification
Have a minimum of 2 years' maintenance experience within a hi-volume manufacturing environment
Be experienced with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ideally have experience with FANUC, Ferromatik or Demag Injection Moulding Machines - although training can be given
