GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join schools in the Hoyland (S74) area immediately. This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, foster creativity, and help pupils develop their artistic skills while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities as an Art Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons in line with the curriculum. Inspire pupils to explore creativity, develop technical skills, and express themselves through art. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance the learning experience. Requirements for Art Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong knowledge of art techniques, media, and the national curriculum. Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills. Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage and inspire students. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
