A leading Steel Fabrication company based in Colpy, Insch, is currently recruiting for a number of Welder / Fabricators to join their organisation on a permanent basis.
Salary and Benefits:
* Hourly rate: between £12.50 and £21 p/h depending on experience
* Overtime: uncapped at x1.5 basic rate and double time on a Sunday. Overtime is readily available and not capped.
* Hours per week: 39 with an early finish on a Friday - 7am - 3.30 - Mon to Thurs, 7am - 2.30pm Friday
* Location: Colpy, Insch
* Annual leave allowance: 29 days - bank holidays must be booked if taken as company is open on bank holidays
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and execute welding plans from blueprints and technical drawings.
* Carry out welding and fabrication processes using MIG and TIG.
* Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets the highest standards.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety protocols.
Skills / Experience required:
* Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in industrial or commercial settings.
* Proficient in various welding methods and fabrication techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, City & Guilds) preferred.
