The Role
As a Project Manager, you will become an integral member of a dynamic PMO function, fully responsible for understanding and delivering the programme vision, objectives, and benefits.
Day‑to‑day, you will manage the project through the later stages of delivery to project closure, overseeing subcontractors and integrating their work into the operational infrastructure. The role is supervised and mentored by an experienced programme manager, suitable for those wishing to build and develop project management skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivery of a high‑value (£4m) project.
* Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers.
* Maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand) reflecting up‑to‑date expectations.
* Reporting progress on all accountabilities to senior programme/portfolio manager.
Essential experience of the Project Manager
* Typically 2–3 years in a Project Management position.
* Ideally from the Defence, Aerospace or Marine industries.
Essential qualifications for the Project Manager
* Degree educated.
* APM, PPQ or Prince2 qualified.
This role is 37 hours per week, based at either our Farnborough or Portsmouth facilities with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
Farnborough
