Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

What this role is all about:
At Vitality, smart systems keep our business healthy. As a Finance Systems Analyst, you’ll sit at the heart of our finance technology landscape, shaping, improving and future‑proofing the systems that power our financial operations. Working closely with Finance, Technology and external partners, you’ll turn ideas into action – translating change into clear, actionable requirements and supporting agile delivery from sprint planning to go‑live. You’ll also harness AI and process automation to simplify workflows, enhance insight and create more efficient ways of working.
Key Actions Planning and Development
4. Responsible for creating task breakdowns & planning sprints with assigned Developers
5. Maintain project governance deliverables for changes
6. Check Finance Systems 3rd party invoices
7. Support Developers to ensure that changes to assigned Finance Systems are delivered on time and meet requirements
Analysis and Testing
8. Responsible for documenting requirements for changes to assigned Finance Systems
9. Perform Unit Testing on new features on assigned systems to ensure they meet requirements
10. Coordinate User Testing activity, including documenting test scripts
11. Plan & Execute Go Lives with Key Stakeholders
Support
12. Provide 1st line support on assigned Finance Systems
13. Actively identify and support opportunities to utilise AI and process automation to streamline finance processes and improve insight
14. Work with Key Stakeholders to find opportunities to improve existing processes
15. Run BAU tasks & MI reports for assigned Finance Systems or Teams
16. Perform User Management tasks on Finance Systems
What do you need to thrive?
17. Experience working with finance systems and producing operational or MI reports
18. Solid understanding of finance processes and systems change delivery
19. Experience working in Agile, sprint‑based environment with developers
20. Confident using delivery and collaboration tools ( Jira, Confluence, MS Project)
21. Strong technical skills with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
22. Ability to define clear business requirements and support testing and go‑live
23. Understanding of controlled systems change and governance within finance
24. Confident stakeholder engagement and ability to translate technical detail for non‑technical audiences
