Responsibilities:
* Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders, including sales support and service lines, to craft tailored solutions addressing client needs.
* Engage with client personnel at various levels, emphasizing the value of our services beyond immediate sales.
* Build partnerships with vendors and collaborators, managing commercial and contractual negotiations.
* Manage the sales pipeline, identify opportunities, nurture leads, and achieve revenue targets.
* Communicate our differentiators through tailored value propositions and balance new business pursuits with renewals.
* Assess and validate evolving customer requirements, follow up diligently, and negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.
* Monitor progress towards revenue and margin targets, develop strategies to exceed expectations, and ensure coverage of work orders.
* Lead solution development, define project deliverables, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage account operations effectively.
Experience Required:
Proven experience as an Account Manager with a track record in new business sales (£5m - £20m deals) or significant growth of existing accounts within the central government or infrastructure sectors (rail/road). Existing relationships with departments like HMRC, DWP, DEFRA, DSIT, DBT, and associated bodies are advantageous.
