Job description
Job responsibilities
Tosupport the systematic provision of a high-quality specialist ClinicalPsychology Service to a wide range of patients receiving palliative care andlong term conditions, and their families and carers.
Towork collaboratively with multi-disciplinary colleagues in IntegratedPalliative Care Services and OOH services within the Community Health andWell-being Directorate.
Tosupervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided byother clinical members of the teams who provide psychologically based care andtreatment.
Toprovide specialist advice and consultation to a range of multi-agencyprofessionals and non-professional carers, and utilise research skills foraudit, policy and service development.
Tooffer training and supervision to multi-disciplinary colleagues.
Topropose and implement policy changes within the areas served by theteam/service.
Towork autonomously within the professional guidelines and overall framework ofthe Trust and teams policies and procedures.
Toassist in the quality and activity monitoring systems.
Toadhere to the lone worker policy.

2. Assessed post-qualification experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist., including neuropsychological experience, sufficient to have completed Band 7 preceptorship requirements
3. Experience of working with people and their carers in a physical health setting
4. Experience of working with a range of clients, presenting a range of clinical severity and maintenance of professionalism in challenging circumstances
