What skills and experience we're looking for
Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* A strong proven track record of high quality teaching.
* A good understanding of the expectations to ensure that all pupils make expected progress towards aspirational targets.
* Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively in the classroom.
* Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Ability to quickly adapt to different school environments and student needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* High expectations for yourself and our pupils.
* Good organisational skills to deliver lessons effectively and complete marking promptly.
* To champion our high standards of pupil behaviour and expectations of good character.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Keen and willing to engage in and promote evidence-based research and interventions.
* Upholds the inclusive principles that are integral to our ethos; and the varied needs of our community.
Desirable:
* Additional qualifications in specific subject areas or SEND.
* Experience working across multiple year groups or subject areas.
* Experience in delivering lessons to SEND or EAL pupils.
