We're partnering with a well-regarded educational institution to recruit an experienced and dedicated Receptionist. This is a key front-facing position where a calm, capable presence makes all the difference.

Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Ascot
Type: Permanent, Part-time, 20hrs per week (12:30pm - 16:30pm), term time only
Estimated Salary: c. £12,000 - £14,000 per annum

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Greet and assist students, parents, staff and visitors
Monitor and log visitor access and follow safeguarding procedures
Take responsibility for visitor logs, sign in sheets and attendance registers during Fire Alarms/Drill
Check and amended attendance registers, reaching out to parents in cases of unauthorised absences
Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
Answer and redirect incoming phone calls/emails inquiries
Relay messages between staff, pupils, parents and external contacts
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the school calendar and policies to be able to provide information about policies, schedules and events on request
Oversee locker key assignments and lost property
Ad hoc administrative duties as and when required (copying, filing, database management, manage supplies and stationery stock etc)
What We're Looking For:

Solid and extensive reception/admin experience ideally within a school or other educational/child-focused environment
Proficiency with IT systems particularly Microsoft office (Word and Outlook)
Previous experience using School database systems would be very beneficial
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive mindset and flexibility to step up when colleagues are busy or absent
Reliability and a team-focused attitude
Trustworthy and discrete when handling confidential information
