Role: Electrical Workshop team leader

Team Size: Collaborative role with potential leadership over junior technicians

We are a small business looking to hire a workshop manager, we feel the right person is from an automotive OR Ideally a motorsport background.
Someone has worked as a senior electrical technician OR harness builder.
The team you will lead is a team of 7.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manufacture and repair of high-performance wiring harnesses and sensors
• Build and test harnesses from technical drawings
• Support Electrical Supervisor and mentor junior technicians
• Collaborate with engineering team on technical improvements
Ideal Candidate:
• 2+ years' experience in electrical harness building
• Skilled in crimping, soldering, and MIL-spec connectors
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven
• Motorsport experience preferred but not essential
• Leadership potential and team-oriented mindset
* Education: GCSE (or equivalent); HNC-level electrical training is desirable
* Hands-on experience with Raychem System 25 harnesses, motorsport-grade connectors, manufacturing and testing harnesses
* Technical knowledge in race car electrical/electronic systems and use of tools like MA System Monitor/ATLAS
