Protocol Education are seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within a PRU setting in Ferryhill. This role is ideal for someone who is resilient, proactive, and confident leading learning in a challenging but highly rewarding environment.

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
* Leading small group lessons and occasionally covering classes in the absence of the teacher
* Supporting students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
* Delivering targeted interventions to support academic progress
* Managing behaviour effectively using positive strategies
* Supporting the planning and adaptation of learning materials
* Acting as a role model and building strong, trusting relationships with students
* Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
