You will gain exposure (if not already having) to Cisco FTD, ISE, ACI & Catalyst, VM Ware NSX-T, Palo Alto NGFW and Juniper Mist amongst other technologies, working across a blend of interesting projects in both the public and private sectors. Role Snapshot As Network Security Consultant you will be an integral member of the delivery and migrations team. The role will entail assisting with migrations, day-to-day delivery tasks and providing ongoing support as a trusted advisor to the company's clients ensuring the solutions and services provided are at an optimal level. This role suits someone looking to take a step up and has ambitions to widen their remit within projects and delivery. Key Responsibilities Assisting with delivery and migration of network, data centre and security solutions. Provide exceptional customer services. Contribute to knowledge centre and keep documentation up to date. Be willing to work in a vendor agnostic environment and stay up to date with the latest technologies. Essential Skills and Experience Cisco Technologies, in particular Cisco firewalling (ASA/FTD), Cisco ISE and any experience with other emerging Cisco technologies and products. Capable or understanding and operating advanced switching and routing environments. Firewalling migration experience, vendor agnostic Cisco, Fortinet or Palo Alto etc. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Possessing a growth mindset and “can do” attitude is vital, being part of a small team, you will be encouraged to step out your comfort zone from time to time. Nice to Have's NSX-T - Experience managing the platform on a daily basis, configuring & monitoring. SDDC (Software Defined Datacentre) - Virtualised datacentre functions such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX and Virtualised firewalling. Hands-on commercial experience with Juniper Mist Additional Requirements: Willing to travel to customer sites across the UK A valid UK driving license. Some of the customer sites are hard to get to via public transport and driving is the only option.
