The Role
We’re seeking a Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator to join our Planning team in Cheshunt. This role offers hands-on experience across the full supply chain, from supplier coordination and stock tracking to order processing and inbound logistics. You will work closely with our Senior Supply Chain Planner to ensure timely and quality product delivery to our UK customers in the foodservice sector.
Responsibilities
1. Stock & Inventory Support: Track stock levels, identify discrepancies, and assist with daily reconciliations across third-party warehouses.
2. Planning & Forecasting Assistance: Support data collection for demand planning, analyze sales trends, and contribute to short-term forecasts.
3. Supplier Coordination: Raise and monitor purchase orders in NAV, liaise with suppliers, and update lead times and delivery expectations.
4. Transport & Logistics Support: Assist in coordinating inbound deliveries, sharing transport documents, and supporting load optimization.
5. Systems & Admin: Maintain accurate system data, support system improvement projects, and handle daily admin tasks including order processing and documentation filing.
Candidate Profile
You are organized, curious, and eager to develop a career in supply chain management. You enjoy working with data, solving problems, and collaborating with others. Key qualifications include:
* Experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management
* Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NAV) or planning tools (e.g., Eazystock) is advantageous
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
* Italian language skills are a plus, especially for working with Italian suppliers
Additional Notes
During training and probation, the successful candidate will split time between our Cheshunt depot and our Herne Hill office in South London (near Brixton). Travel costs will be reimbursed. Post-probation, hybrid working arrangements will be discussed, with an initial focus on office-based work to ensure proper exposure to our operations.
