Control Panel Builder - Ballymena - Permanent An established engineering company in Ballymena is seeking an experienced Electrical Switchboard and Control Panel Builder to join its growing team. This is a key role supporting the build, wiring and assembly of high-quality electrical control panels and switchboards across a range of projects. Working closely with the General Manager and existing panel-building team, the successful candidate will play an important part in strengthening capacity, maintaining quality standards and supporting continued business growth. About the role:
1. Up to £20.00 per hour (DOE plus benefits)
2. Monday to Friday
3. Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
4. Assembly of electrical control panel enclosures
5. Laying out of back plates and fixing components
6. Fixing door‑mounted components
7. Power and control cable wiring
8. Installation of switchboard ACBs, MCCBs, fuse‑switches, and similar equipment
9. Installation of bus‑bar systems
What you'll need for this role:
10. Previous experience in a panel‑building workshop or factory
11. 4 GCSEs at grades A–C
