We are recruiting for A Decorator About the Role: As a CBRE Decorator, you will perform painting and decorating duties for planned and reactive works. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and will be based on the AkzoNobel site in Gateshead. What You'll Do: · Complete an annual programme of internal and external painting of common areas · Undertaking department specific requests for decoration works · Assisting fabric engineers with decoration following reactive works · Working with suppliers to complete jobs where 3 rd party involvemet is required e.g. obtain quotations, escort around site · Maintaining site stock of common areas paint colours to ensure quick repsonses to reactive requests · Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. · Work with available systems to manage and track completion. · Ensure all activites are in line with client PTW process · Liasing with client when scoping new jobs · Undertake all works in-line with CBRE HSE policy and procedures and attend/complete training as required · Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under supervision and guidance What You'll Need: · Trade qualification with minimum 2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a qualification, a combination of experience and education will be considered. · Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. · Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. · Ability to use mobile phone device to manage work orders e.g. checking jobs coming in and closing once complete. · Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. · Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
