Inclusion Support Worker Reach and Connect - Fixed Term
Join to apply for the Inclusion Support Worker Reach and Connect - Fixed Term role at Bristol City Council.

Our offer is designed to work with the pupil, family and school, to better understand their needs and make integration into school a more positive and successful experience. Our Inclusion Support Workers will assist us in this aim.

* Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and external agencies in line with the schools vision and values.
* Assist in implementing effective practice for pupils who may be disengaged from education to ensure they are provided for in the most effective ways.
* Conduct outreach work where available, and take appropriate responsibilities within the school when outreach is not available.
* Support pupils’ educational and holistic needs, ensuring reintegration into suitable provisions.
Ideal Candidate
* Embody our values and drive forward this new provision with positivity, professionalism and a determined commitment to achieve the very best outcomes for children and young people.
* Show empathy, flexibility and sensitivity toward complex and vulnerable pupils.
* Display determination and ambition, holding pupils in unconditional positive regard and believing they can achieve progress.
* Demonstrate optimism, resilience and patience.
* Be excited to truly make a difference to pupils who may have a range of additional needs.
* Have strong communication and creative thinking skills.
