The Role
The Department of Strategy, Marketing & Innovation within Kingston Business School invites applicants for the post of Lecturer in Marketing. The role offers the opportunity to utilize research and industry experience to deliver exceptional teaching in Brand Management, Branding Design, and Marketing/Digital Marketing. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team responsible for impactful research and excellent teaching aligned with the University’s vision to develop sought-after graduates. Responsibilities include designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate modules, employing innovative technologies and pedagogies to enhance student experience.
The Person
Applicants should have a completed or near-completion doctorate in Marketing or a related field. Preference will be given to those with high-quality research potential and relevant industry experience. The candidate will contribute to the School’s Research & Knowledge Hubs of Excellence and support the University's Town House Strategy by fostering skills such as innovation, enterprise, and digital problem-solving. Responsibilities include teaching, assessment, curriculum development, pastoral care, academic leadership, and engagement in applied research and outreach activities. Experience in designing or leading modules and evidence of teaching excellence are desirable.
The role demands a global and contemporary approach to business education and active, experiential learning. The candidate will support student placements and professional consultancy activities, generating income and enriching student opportunities.
