Home Manager - Nursing Care Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience) Care Home Capacity: 58 beds Requirements: Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN), Leadership Experience in Nursing Care We are currently seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a well-established 58-bed nursing home that provides specialist care for older people, including those with dementia, complex mental health needs, and physical disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified nurse with proven leadership skills, who is passionate about delivering high standards of care and creating a supportive and professional environment for both residents and staff. About the Home The service is split into two dedicated units - one offering general nursing and residential care, and the other focused on mental health support. Residents are cared for in a modern, purpose-built setting offering en-suite bedrooms, communal lounges, landscaped gardens, and specialist bathing facilities. The home promotes independence, dignity, and person-centred care. It also supports an active and engaging lifestyle, with regular activities and outings for residents, as well as on-site facilities designed to enhance daily living. Key Responsibilities Take full operational leadership of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Lead, support, and motivate a multi-disciplinary team of nurses and care staff Maintain high standards of care and safety across all units Build strong, open relationships with residents, families, and external professionals Manage resources, staffing levels, and budgeting to ensure smooth daily operations Ensure robust care planning and medication management systems are in place Oversee audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with active NMC pin - essential NVQ Level 5 or equivalent management qualification preferred Prior experience managing a nursing or dual-registered care home Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding practices Strong people management, leadership, and mentoring skills Passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care Confident communicator with a proactive approach To apply please send cv's to Jacob@howard-finley.co.uk or call 07842508560
