A thriving three-form entry primary school in Liverpool is seeking a professional and organised HR & Staffing Administrator to join its senior operations team. With over 600 pupils and a large staff body, the school requires a dedicated HR professional to ensure that recruitment, compliance and staffing processes are managed efficiently and in line with safeguarding and statutory requirements. The Role As HR & Staffing Administrator, you will work closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager to coordinate all aspects of staff administration. This is a highly responsible position that requires confidentiality, strong organisational skills and a clear understanding of safer recruitment and safeguarding legislation. Key responsibilities include: • Coordinating recruitment processes from advertisement to appointment • Managing pre-employment checks, DBS clearance and single central record updates • Maintaining accurate personnel files and compliance documentation • Supporting induction processes for new staff • Monitoring absence records and supporting return-to-work processes • Drafting contracts, variation letters and HR correspondence • Liaising with payroll providers to ensure accurate staff payments • Producing staffing reports for governors and senior leaders The School Environment The school operates from a modernised site with dedicated leadership and administrative offices.
