Business Development Executive Location : Tipton, Hybrid Hours : Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 Salary £26500 plus commission Telesales Business Development Executive The main purpose of the position is to source, develop and build relationships with new and existing clients to ensure that levels of conquest business supports the financial requirements of the business and maximise current and future opportunities with existing clients. A core focus will be to ensure that the existing client base is fully engaged to be the supplier of choice. This will be delivered through operating best practice and provide excellent customer service, happiness, and optimum client ease of transaction always. Key Responsibilities: Identifying potential clients through market research Maintaining a database/pipeline of potential clients Calling potential clients to win new business and or get an appointment for the commercial team to follow up Send out to potential clients Company information as required Maintaining a database of calls made and follow up action needed Following up sales calls as required Contacting existing customers to increase volume and find work for drivers as required. Pursuing sales leads as received Question potential clients to establish exactly what services are required Answering telephones in a polite and professional manner Managing relationships with new customers until handover to Customer Service Manage the handover of new clients to the Customer Service Carry out any other duties as deemed reasonable Required Skills/Knowledge Must demonstrate an inquisitive and proactive approach to work planning Must have an outgoing personality Must be resilient and tenacious Strong communicator and inter personnel skills.
