Job Opportunity: Team Leader within Locality Hubs
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Locality hubs for a Team Leader. This critical leadership role within the system involves operational and clinical oversight of multiple services within a Locality Hub. The post holder will work as part of the leadership team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient services that meet performance, clinical, and financial targets.
This role requires a dynamic and inclusive leader capable of driving service transformation, operational excellence, and workforce engagement across complex care environments. The post holder will lead resource allocation, demand and capacity planning, performance improvement, and service development, ensuring services are responsive to local needs and aligned with wider system priorities.
The Team Leader will collaborate with the service manager to deliver integrated models of care and ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide operational leadership for the Service alongside the Service Manager / Matron, ensuring high-quality, safe clinical services for patients, meeting outcome measures, service level agreements, activity, and financial targets.
2. Offer strong, visible, inclusive, and compassionate leadership across the Service.
3. Work with Divisional colleagues to review and improve services, considering local and national guidelines and professional guidance.
4. Ensure effective strategies are in place for the Service and that key elements are integrated within Divisional plans.
5. Manage expenditure within the delegated budget and contribute to the financial management of the Division, seeking efficiencies in liaison with the Service Manager/Lead Matron.
6. Implement robust Cost Improvement Plans (CIP).
