YouwilljointheEstatesStrategyandDevelopmentTeamatSomersetCouncilwhoareresponsibleforthestrategicmanagementofaportfolioconsistingofaround4,000assets,including1,300buildingsand2,300parcelsofland. Theroleisresponsibleformanaging,overseeing,anddeliveringavarietyofcomplexestatescaseworktoachievestrategicobjectivesforthecouncil,ensuringeffectivemanagementanddevelopmentofthecouncilsestate. Coordinatingdisposalsofnon-operationalassetsthroughthewholedeliverycyclewillbeamajorpartoftherolefromadvisingonpotentialvalues,appointingagentsforabroadcaseloadofrealestatetransactionsacquisitionswithself-directedresponsibilityforindividualtransactionsvalueduptoc.£1,000,000.
