Role: Warehouse Manager Location: Ormskirk Type: PermanentSalary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Profit share bonus Warehouse Manager - Exciting Opportunity with a Growing BusinessRussell Taylor Group are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a thriving company with ongoing investment in site improvements and operational upgrades. * Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient processes across all functions.
* Delivering operational excellence and high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Managing and developing the warehouse team.
* Monitoring KPIs and identifying areas for process improvement and cost control.
* Supporting the integration of new systems and technologies to future-proof operations.
* Supervise daily warehouse functions, including inventory control, shipping/receiving, quality assurance, and logistics.
* Manage staffing schedules and workload distribution to optimise productivity and reduce overtime.
* Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of warehouse equipment and infrastructure.
* Work collaboratively with the Transport Manager and other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
* Maintain and enforce all health, safety, and compliance standards.
* Regularly review performance metrics and implement strategies to address inefficiencies and reduce loss.
The candidate:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior warehouse role.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven experience with the implementation and management of a Warehouse Management System
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
* Proficient in IT systems and administrative processes.
* Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and provide constructive feedback.
* Hold an in-date Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence
