Duties & Responsibilities
* Dealing with multiple drivers.
* Communicating with ports.
* Booking delivery slots for entry in ports.
* Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times.
* Chasing drivers for ETAs and making sure they are on time.
* Rerouting jobs as and when is needed.
* Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system.
* Speaking to customers on possible delays advising ET.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential.
* Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal.
* Must be happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
* Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
* Can work on own initiative.
* Quick and efficient problem solving skills.
* Organised at all times.
* Flexibility to meet the demands of the business.
