An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established Electrical Contractor as part of a busy finance and administration team. This is a varied role (supporting / handling) the purchasing processes for our team of engineers and would suit an experienced administrator wanting to take on a new challenge. Key responsibilities include the following:
Responsibilities:
· Performs clerical duties, including, but not limited to, placing orders for electrical equipment, receiving deliveries and processing a high volume of delivery documents and invoices for goods and materials
* Handling phone enquires
* Interacting with clients, visitors, our engineers and suppliers
* Photocopies, scans, and files appropriate documents
* Maintains accurate records and enters data
* Interacts with manager and directors when necessary
* Answers customer questions and confirms customer orders
Applicants must have:
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good planning organisational and time management skills,
* Proven ability of Microsoft Office software packages - Outlook, Word, Excel.
* The ability to work to a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
* The ability to work effectively on own initiative as well as a member of a busy team
* Performs additional duties when required
This is a part-time permanent position 32hours a week (Hours can be Flexible)
Bilingual preferably not essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
