The Role: We are looking for an LGV Driver Class 1 to join our waste sector at our Rotherham site. This is a day's position, working a shift pattern of Saturday to Wednesday. This is a PERMANENT position. You will be responsible for collecting liquid waste products and sludges from our customer across the county of Yorkshire. Pay Rates: Daily Rate per Hour £13.85 Guarantee 45 HOURS Per Week First 5 shifts, daily guarantee 9 hours per day, 10 hours per night shift. 6thShift Monday to Friday 5 hours per day 8 hours per night (unless driver is on a night out and returning to base in morning, only time taken paid). Sunday and Bank holidays 8 hours. Overtime Monday to Friday £20.78 Applicable after 8 hours worked and Saturday for first 5 hours Overtime Weekends and Bank Holidays £27.70 Applicable after 5 hours worked on Saturdays FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid CPC Refreshers Essential Requirements: An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points A tachograph card A valid ADR licence A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation A safety focus Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience Vacuum Tanker experience is preferred but training will be provided if required. The Package: In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
